Prairie Rodeo This season RaspberryPlum takes a nostalgic look at the elaborate style of vintage US country music scene, combined with the romantic softness of the American West during the late 19th century. Rhinestone Cowboy meets Little House on the Prairie. So-called Nudie Suits by Nudie Cohen played a big role in this collection. These suits were originally made famous by such stars as Dolly Parton, Elton John, Elvis and Liberace. For the first time, we introduce tailoring, in the form of 70s style suits featuring embroideries and appliqués inspired by Nudie suits. Graphics such as buffalo heads, stars, horses, horseshoes, and guitars embellished with flowers are a direct link to 50s and 60s country and western music fashion.
